The front illustration is a girl in a red bathing suit and straw hat, with a green pail. The printed words on the front are "To My Valentine". Inside is a black and white line illustration of a boy and girl on the beach playing in the sand. Under the illustration is the printed verse "I cannot put my thoughts in print, I simply give this little hint-I want you for my Valentine". Handwritten on the back is "To Mary from Helen Gibson".
