Description/History:Card is square with a blue and gold geometric border. The front illustration is a girl in a red bathing suit and straw hat, with a green pail. The printed words on the front are "To My Valentine". Inside is a black and white line illustration of a boy and girl on the beach playing in the sand. Under the illustration is the printed verse "I cannot put my thoughts in print, I simply give this little hint-I want you for my Valentine". Handwritten on the back is "To Mary from Helen Gibson". Printed in the center of the back is "WhitneyMade, Worcester, Mass., Made in USA" Card given to Mary Ruth Johnson McShane (1909-2001) of Mt.Vernon in grade school.
